Eileen Higgins, with over 35% of the vote, and Emilio T. Gonzalez, with over 19%, were the projected top two finishers Tuesday in the city's mayoral election. Johnson Wen, 26, was returned home to Australia on Sunday and has been "barred from re-entering Singapore," a spokesperson for Singapore's Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) said.
